My friend has an Imac with a blown ethernet jack.
Ok, ive done a rudimentary search on this, and found that there seems to be no USB nic that works for mac OS (any version). However, my friend (and a few people here) seem to have a problem with their NIC's. Im almost positive its blown. Now, without any USB NIC solutions, i thought that maybe a USB to USB Network cable, which would connect to a PC might work? These cables generally have some onwire circutry to do the NIC stuff. Do you think that would work? I havn't found any of those that support MAC OS either.
If that fails, and a network connection is a must, could he by any chance use a Paralell Cable to Network the 2 comps? Do Imacs even have a paralell port (i forgot when i looked)? What about firewire?

1. The game was a really good buy, especially since I got it new for $5. It worked perfectly with my PowerBook G4. To everyone wonder what OS this is compatible with, it is compatible with Windows 98-Vista and Mac OS X 10.3.9 or above. I don't know the maximum Mac OS X version, but it would be like 10.6. Overall my favorite game in the series!
